Downtown Revitalization Program Information
This program is a joint program between the Village of Marwayne Council, the Marwayne Economic Development Committee, and the Marwayne and District Chamber of Commerce.

The purpose of this program is to assist downtown business owners with store front improvements that will revitalize their businesses and contribute to a pedestrian-oriented downtown with a historic western boomtown theme. Improving the atmosphere will encourage customers to stay longer and do more business. A nice looking downtown will also entice investors and new business owners to build in Marwayne.

It is important to understand that this volunteer-run grant program has been established to improve the look of the commercial district. It is a monetary incentive to help business owners capture the spirit of our western heritage and add to the Village's historic character based on the "Downtown Historic Area Design Guidelines" in the Land Use Bylaw.
