The Marwayne Agricultural Society is the governing organization that coordinates the community-wide planning and program development of approximately 30 community organizations. The Board of Directors represent the Village of Marwayne and the facility and program-based organizations in Marwayne that provide recreation, park, agricultural, educational, and cultural programs and services.
Goals are to:
- establish community consensus to sustain a quality of life based on global community priorities
- define a community vision, values, and set a strategic direction
- define the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders
- implement a public relations, communications and marketing plan
- educate the broader community of stakeholders as to the expanded role of the Agricultural Society
- improve programs and services; fund development; leadership development; volunteer development, and financial management
- identify five action plans for the Board of Directors to help attain these goals
